
Behavioral Neurologist and Dementia Specialist at The Neuron Clinic in Southern California, USA, where he also serves as Director of Clinical Research. He is Co-Founder of the clinic and leads key initiatives in memory, brain health, and PET brain imaging.
He also holds a position as Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor (non-salaried) in the Department of Neurosciences at the University of California, San Diego, and serves as an attending neurologist at the UC San Diego Adult Down Syndrome Clinic. Previously, he was Chief Medical Officer at The Neuron Clinic and Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurology at UC San Diego.
He earned his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, completed his Neurology residency at UC San Diego, and a fellowship in Neurodegenerative Diseases at the VA San Diego Healthcare System. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and holds a medical license in California.
His research focuses on Alzheimer’s disease, neurodegenerative disorders, brain health, Down syndrome, and brain biomarkers. He has served as principal investigator, co-investigator, and sub-investigator in multiple Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials in Alzheimer’s disease, anti-amyloid immunotherapy, cognitive impairment, multiple sclerosis, migraine, and vascular neurology.
