Dr. Daniel Alcolea is a Clinical Neurologist and coordinates the Fluid Biomarkers Research Core at the Memory Unit of Hospital Sant Pau in Barcelona.
His work focuses on cerebrospinal fluid and plasma biomarkers in neurodegenerative diseases, with over 200 peer-reviewed publications and more than 250 presentations at national and international conferences. His research has significantly contributed to the validation and clinical implementation of fluid biomarkers.
He also serves as a clinical associate professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, mentors residents, and is an active speaker in scientific and educational forums.
