He leads major initiatives in dementia research, including the BUILD-FSA programme and the Cameroon National Dementia Plan Project. His work focuses on strengthening research capacity and advancing innovative solutions across the continent.

His research focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare, developing advanced methods in biomedical machine vision, multimodal learning, and generalist AI to support clinical decision-making.
He is a Senior Member of IEEE and Fellow of the American Heart Association, with work funded by major institutions including NIH and Gates Ventures
