Dr. Mercè Boada, Chief Medical Officer of Fundació ACE, took part this weekend in the VilaPensa thinking festival with the conference "The search for happiness in unhappiness".

In the lecture, Boada gave a new look at Alzheimer's disease, providing a focus on the progress in the field of research, early diagnosis and support for affected people, in order to find an outlet for this disease.

VilaPensa, a thinking festival

VilaPensa is a thinking festival, organized annually in Vilafranca del Penedès. It is an educational and transversal project, open to knowledge, culture, science and humanism in general.

The second edition of VilaPensa, held this year from April 2nd-7th, under the title "In search for happiness", proposed this topic as a unifying thread of all its events. VilaPensa'19 has been an honest search for the meaning of happiness to help people reflect on what to expect from it.
