Dr. Mercè Boada, medical director at Fundació ACE, presents this week a poster on the MOPEAD project (Models of Patient Engagement for Alzheimer's Disease) in the framework of the 43rd World Hospital Congress held in Muscat (Oman) on November 6th – 9th.
The poster presents the goals, the main methods used during the testing of four different patient engagement models as well as some preliminary results and findings of MOPEAD, a European study led by Fundació ACE in order to give citizens an active role in the early detection of Alzheimer's .
In addition, Dr. Alba Benaque, Director of Fundació ACE takes also part in the congress, presenting a second poster on the memory clinic model implemented by the Foundation, based on an integrated, comprehensive and patient centred system.
World Hospital Congress
The World Hospital Congress of the International Hospital Federation (IHF) is a global forum that brings together leaders of national and international hospital and healthcare organisations to discuss key drivers and international policy, management and solutions in healthcare.
This year the global event is hosted by The Ministry of Health of the Sultanate of Oman in Muscat and will feature a mix of keynotes, panel discussions, case studies, poster presentations and networking activities.
