The rules for the third edition of the Lluís Tárraga Award have been published
Ace Alzheimer Centre Barcelona has launched the third edition of the Lluís Tárraga Award, an initiative that seeks to recognise the best research projects by sixth-form students focusing on Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
The main objective of this award is to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s among students, highlight the dedication of teachers and schools, and encourage young people’s interest in research. It also seeks to promote scientific projects beyond the academic environment and encourage educational centres to foster this research vocation among their students.
In this edition, the winner will receive a cash prize of €1,000 and the opportunity to present their work at the Barcelona-Pittsburgh international conference, in order to share their findings and contribute value to the scientific community.
Entries may be submitted until 21 June 2025, by email to bcnpit@fundacioace.org, indicating ‘III edition of the Lluís Tárraga Awards’ in the subject line.
If you are a student, we encourage you to participate and be part of this initiative that promotes knowledge and research on Alzheimer’s disease!
