According to the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 55 million people are currently living with dementia worldwide, and this number is expected to rise to 139 million by 2050. In this context, research is key to advancing toward a new era in the approach to Alzheimer’s disease.

The XIV Barcelona–Pittsburgh Biennial Conference (BCN-PIT), organized by Ace Alzheimer Center, once again brings together the international scientific community at a critical moment for dementia research. The event has established itself as a leading platform to share advances, foster debate, and build new collaborations.

Progress in biomarkers, artificial intelligence, and emerging therapies is transforming the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. BCN-PIT stands at the center of this change, providing an environment to analyze the main challenges and opportunities that will shape the next decade.

Over the course of three days, researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals will be able to:

  • Access the latest scientific advances
  • Connect with internationally renowned experts
  • Foster new collaborations with real-world impact

Beyond the scientific program, the conference stands out for its ability to bring together the global research community and promote partnerships that contribute to improving the lives of patients and their families.

The event will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participation both in person in Barcelona and online from anywhere in the world.
