Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona will host the 14th edition of the Barcelona–Pittsburgh Biennial Conference on 13, 14 and 15 May 2026. This well-established scientific event has become a key forum in the field of research on Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. The conference will be held at the Hotel Porta Fira in Barcelona and will follow a hybrid format, enabling both onsite and virtual participation, thereby facilitating access for experts worldwide.
Through this format, professionals and specialists from across the globe will convene to contribute their expertise, further consolidating the Barcelona–Pittsburgh Conference as a leading platform for advanced education and scientific exchange in Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative conditions.
The Barcelona–Pittsburgh Biennial Conference offers a three-day scientific programme designed for approximately 400 professionals working in the areas of dementia, cognition and neuroscience. According to Mercè Boada, Founder and Medical Director of Ace, “the objective is to provide a rigorous and structured update on the most relevant advances in research, while anticipating the key trends that will shape the field over the next two years.”
