Rosalind Firenze, PhD.
Scientific Program Director at the Aging Brain Initiative and Picower Institute of MIT.

Dr. Firenze oversees and supports the scientific vision of collaborative research efforts for the Aging Brain Initiative and ADSC across MIT and beyond. Firenze, a biomedical engineer by training, received her undergrad and graduate degrees at The Johns Hopkins University and the University of Virginia.
Her postdoctoral work at the University of Pennsylvania encompassed efforts to understand the impact of traumatic brain injury on neural network function. Before joining The Picower Institute, she served as a senior scientific editor for Cell Press.
