Dr. Josep Maria Argimon holds a degree and a PhD in Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and a Master’s degree in Evidence-Based Healthcare from the University of Oxford. He served as Director of the Agency for Health Quality and Assessment of Catalonia (AQuAS) between 2012 and 2016, Director of the Catalan Health Institute between 2018 and 2021, and Minister of Health from May 2021 to October 2022.He is currently Director of Health System Relations at the Pasqual Maragall Foundation (FPM) and at its research center, the BarcelonaBeta Brain Research Center (BBRC).
