
Graduated in Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain) and in Physical Sciences from The Open University (United Kingdom).
He completed his specialist training in Hematology and Hemotherapy at Hospital Central de La Alianza in Barcelona, with part of his residency carried out at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York (USA). In 1998, he began his career in the pharmaceutical industry, where he has remained ever since, primarily linked to Clinical Research departments.
Since 2004, he has been part of the Clinical Trials and Pharmacovigilance Unit at Grifols and currently serves as Director of the Medical & Technical Department. His current responsibilities include designing Grifols’ clinical research strategy for the therapeutic use of plasma proteins, including research related to Alzheimer’s disease.
