This year Ace Alzheimer Center continues to support the cause of early detection and research into Alzheimer’s disease with its Regala Memoria 2024 campaign.

As we do every year, at Ace Alzheimer Center we carry out a campaign with the aim of raising awareness in society, through an emotional tone, about the importance of Alzheimer's research and the care of patients and their families.
This campaign, under the name "Regala Memoria", focuses on the memory and the memories that everyone retains of their life, and how these can significantly affect the character and well-being of people with Alzheimer's disease.
The protagonists of this year's campaign are an elderly man (75 years old) and his daughter (45 years old), who are sitting on the sofa in their home while the daughter pours a cup of tea for her father. He looks at her strangely, and comments that he hasn't seen the other girl who used to look after him for a long time. The emotional part of the film is that the father does not remember his own daughter, as she is the one who has been looking after him all his life. Even so, he does seem to remember her name: Marta.
The main message of the campaign is based on the fact that "love is not forgotten", alluding to the fact that the human brain can lose memories, but the heart can't. It evokes feeling with the heart, in that we all have this capacity to feel and that it is not lost or worsened over the years.
