More than 5,000 hugs for Alzheimer’s research

The 10th edition of La Noche del Alzheimer (Alzheimer’s Night), Ace’s annual charity gala, served as the conclusion of the ‘A hug for Alzheimer’s’ campaign, promoted once again with the support of Kern Pharma. The initiative managed to collect 2,560 virtual and real hugs, which translates into €5,120 donated entirely to Ace’s Alzheimer’s research projects.

Thanks to the participation of the public and the support of Kern Pharma, each hug shared generated €2 for Ace projects focused on early detection and improving the quality of life of people with dementia and their carers. This 10th edition has made it possible to consolidate a significant amount of funds to strengthen research and support for families.

During the gala, music, art and culture accompanied the celebration, turning it into a space for recognising solidarity and collective effort. The hugs collected during La Noche are a symbol of society’s commitment to those affected and a reminder that research is advancing thanks to every gesture and every individual contribution.

With actions such as this, Ace and Kern Pharma renew their commitment to research and awareness of Alzheimer’s disease, contributing to projects that improve the detection, care and lives of people with dementia throughout Spain.
