Fundació ACE and the Castell de Peralada International Music Festival have recently started the “Music for memory” program to study how music influences the well-being of people with dementia.

The program, which will consist of a whole series of activities, grouped in 3 sessions per year, started last week with the organization of a workshop-concert of the Drinking Song (Brindisi) of La Traviata by the Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi.

Thanks to this initiative, a grup of users of the Day Center and Hospital of the Foundation, after a long time of rehearsal and dedication, had the opportunity to become professional singers for a day, singing together with the members of the Intermezzo choir. Without a doubt it was a magical experience for all participants and attendees!
