We are proud to announce that Miren Jone Gurruchaga and Dr. Mercè Boada have been nominated for the prestigious ranking of "The Top 100 Women Leaders in Spain", a list that aims to recognize the talent, skills and achievements of women in the labor market, promoting gender equality and generating more inclusive work environments.
This recognition is a reflection of their outstanding professional careers and leadership in the field of business management and Alzheimer's clinical research, respectively.
Miren Jone Gurruchaga, Ace's General Manager, has been nominated for the second year in the category of “Senior Executives, Board Members and CEO”. Since 1999, Miren has led the economic and administrative management of our organization, contributing to its growth and positioning as a pioneering center in the treatment and research of Alzheimer's disease. Her strategic vision has been key to improving the quality of the services offered by the center and advancing dementia research.
Mercè Boada, co-founder and medical director of Ace, is a renowned neurologist who has dedicated her career to research on dementias and, especially, Alzheimer's disease. Nominated for the fourth year in the category of “Academics and Researchers”, Dr. Boada has been instrumental in the development of international clinical trials and the publication of research that has contributed significantly to the advancement in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
This year, popular votes are key for our candidates to reach the final stage of the ranking.

Voting period:
The popular voting period is open from October 23 to December 14, 2024. At the end, a specialized jury will review the most voted candidates to choose the final winners in each category.
