Last days to submit entries for the Lluís Tárraga Award on Alzheimer’s and dementias

Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona reminds that the deadline to participate in the call for the Lluís Tárraga Award is March 20. This award recognises the best research projects by second-year upper secondary school students focused on Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, with the aim of encouraging scientific interest among young people.

The Lluís Tárraga Award, promoted by Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona, seeks to bring knowledge about neurodegenerative diseases closer to students, foster research from an early age, and highlight the role of schools and teachers in promoting scientific vocations.

Through this initiative, Ace encourages students to develop scientific projects on Alzheimer’s, dementias and brain health, helping to generate greater knowledge and awareness about these diseases.

In this edition, the winner will receive a cash prize of 1,000 euros and will have the opportunity to present their work at the Barcelona-Pittsburgh international conference, a leading scientific meeting in the field of dementia research.

Projects can be submitted until March 20, following the guidelines set out in the competition rules.
