On 29 November, Dr. Mercè Boada, medical director and co-founder of Ace, received the prestigious award at the Gentleman Awards Special Edition Malaga 2024. This event, which took place at the Gran Hotel Miramar in Malaga, paid tribute to outstanding personalities from various sectors, including science, art, sport and gastronomy.

Dr. Boada was recognised for her tireless work in the treatment and diagnosis of Alzheimer's, standing out as one of the most influential figures in research into this disease, as well as in improving the quality of life of patients and their families.

The Gentleman Awards, organised by the magazine of the same name belonging to elPeriódico, highlight individuals whose work reflects the values of talent, dedication and excellence. This year, along with Dr. Boada, other outstanding figures in their respective fields were awarded, such as the national basketball coach Sergio Scariolo, the guitarist Tomatito, and the writer Javier Castillo, among others.
