Natàlia Tantinyà
Head of Nursing

She holds a nursing degree from the University of Nursing of Osona (1997) and has extensive experience in patient care, geriatrics, and healthcare management, and in recent years, in quality management.

She has supplemented her education with various postgraduate programs in Geriatric and Gerontological Nursing (1998), Out-of-Hospital Emergencies (2001), Management of Nursing Homes and Services for the Elderly (2003), Occupational Nursing (2005–2006), and General Medicine and Specialties (2008). Master’s Degree in Management and Methodology of Quality and Patient Safety from the Autonomous University of Barcelona – Avedis Donabedian Foundation (2026).

Professionally, since 2024 she has served as Head of Nursing in the Diagnostic Unit at the Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona, where she also works as a nurse in the Clinical Trials Unit (2021–present) and performs duties as a case management nurse. Between 2011 and 2021, I served as the health and hygiene manager at the Ace Foundation’s Day Hospital and Day Center, and I also participated as a member of the European RAMCIP project on social robotics (Horizon 2020).

She collaborates with the Diagnostic Unit’s training program for family members of people with dementia by leading various post-diagnosis workshops on dementia.

Previously, she worked as a nurse at the La Creueta Nursing Home (MUTUAM, Sabadell), served as the health and hygiene coordinator at various nursing homes (Allegra Nursing Home, Sophos Nursing Home in Barberà del Vallès and Sant Joan Despí, and Altanova Residencial – Grup Carburos Metálicos), and served as director of the La Ginesta Nursing Home (Castellcir).

She is a member of the Dementia Study Group (GEDSEDENE) of the Spanish Society of Neurological Nursing (SEDENE).
