She earned her Nursing Diploma from the Universitat d’Infermeria d’Osona in 1997 and has extensive professional experience in clinical care, geriatrics, and healthcare management, with a particular focus on quality management in recent years.
She has furthered her education through several postgraduate programs in Geriatric and Gerontological Nursing (1998), Out-of-Hospital Emergency Care (2001), Management of Geriatric Residential Facilities and Services for Older Adults (2003), Occupational Health Nursing (2005–2006), and General Medicine and Medical Specialties (2008). In 2026, she earned a Master’s Degree in Quality Management and Methodology and Patient Safety from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona – Fundació Avedis Donabedian.
Since 2024, she has served as Head of Nursing in the Diagnostic Unit at Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona. She has also worked as a nurse in the Clinical Trials Unit since 2021 and performs case management nursing duties. From 2011 to 2021, she served as the healthcare coordinator for the Day Hospital and Day Center at Fundació ACE. During this period, she also participated in RAMCIP, a European Horizon 2020 project focused on social robotics.
She contributes to the Diagnostic Unit’s education program for family members of people living with dementia, leading a range of post-diagnostic workshops on dementia care and management.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a nurse at La Creueta Residential Care Facility (MUTUAM, Sabadell) and served in healthcare management roles at several residential care facilities, including Residencia Allegra, Residencia Sophos in Barberà del Vallès and Sant Joan Despí, and Altanova Residencial – Grup Carburos Metálicos. She also served as Director of Residencia La Ginesta in Castellcir.
She is a member of the Dementia Study Group (GEDSEDENE) of the Spanish Society of Neurological Nursing (SEDENE).
