Marta Ibarria
Clinical Neuropsychologist

Marta Ibarria is a clinical neuropsychologist and has been part of the Ace Alzheimer Center team since 2009. She currently works within the Clinical Trials Unit and supports the Diagnostic Unit and Day Hospital, participating in the assessment and neuropsychological follow-up of individuals with cognitive impairment and neurodegenerative diseases, within an interdisciplinary approach focused on the patient and their family. She obtained her degree in Psychology in 2004 and, in the same year, completed a Master’s degree in Neuropsychological Diagnosis and Rehabilitation at Hospital Sant Pau, affiliated with the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In 2010, she completed a postgraduate degree in Brief Strategic Therapy at the University of Vic. Previously, she worked as a neuropsychologist in the Dementia Unit at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, where she carried out diagnostic assessments and clinical management of patients with neurodegenerative disorders. She has participated in various research projects and scientific publications in the field of neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and cognitive stimulation programs, integrating clinical practice with research in clinical trials.
