Ariadna Solivar Boix
Psychologist at the Research Department of Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona

Ariadna Solivar holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Barcelona. She is currently completing a Master’s in Neuropsychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, and has recently started a Master’s in General Health Psychology at the International University of La Rioja.

Since March 2025, she has been part of the Artificial Intelligence Program at the Research Department of Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona, where she participates in the European project COMFORTage (Horizon EU). Her role focuses on the design, translation, and adaptation of digital platforms for the implementation of cognitive stimulation sessions for people with mild cognitive impairment, helping make them accessible and effective in real clinical settings.

She has completed curricular internships at the Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Cognitive Disorders Unit of Garraf (UMAG) at Sant Antoni Abat Hospital – Consorci Sanitari Alt Penedès-Garraf, where she participated in comprehensive neuropsychological assessments (first visits and follow-ups), cognitive rehabilitation (individual, group, and reminiscence activities), and behavioral interventions in psychogeriatrics. This experience allowed her to explore the diversity of cognitive disorders —from mild cognitive impairment to various types of dementias and acquired brain injuries— and consolidated her interest in applied neuropsychology. Her Final Degree Project was linked to this experience, focusing on the effectiveness of the digital platform Neuron-up in the cognitive rehabilitation of a specific case of acquired brain injury after stroke.

She has also completed clinical internships at the Therapeutic, Educational and Residential Unit Acompanya’m of Sant Joan de Déu, participating in individual and family psychotherapeutic interventions, as well as in coordination with the network (DGAIA, EAIA, judicial system) in the treatment of acute child and adolescent mental health cases in contexts of high sociocultural complexity. In addition, she carried out mindfulness sessions, social skills training for ASD profiles, and cognitive training programs for ADHD with impulse control.
