Clinical Neuropsychologist. PhD in Neuropsychology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, with her doctoral thesis conducted at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital within the Epilepsy Unit, under the title “Cryptogenic Frontal Epilepsy and Theory of Mind.” She was a pioneer in opening new fields of study on neurological diseases and their impact on emotions, a fascinating area that connects neuroscience with human affective and emotional processes.

Trained at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, she broadened her professional experience working as a clinical neuropsychologist and researcher in leading centers such as Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona and the private clinic of Dr. Mercè Boada, specializing in comprehensive assessment and the preclinical phases of cognitive disorders, as well as personalized neuropsychological rehabilitation.

Since 2013, she has been working as a researcher and clinical neuropsychologist at Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona, where she carries out combined tasks in both the Memory Unit and the Clinical Trials Unit, actively participating in research and evaluation of new pharmacological treatments in more than 20 ongoing clinical trials. She has led national and international studies such as FACEHBI and MOPEAD, focused on innovation in the early detection of Alzheimer’s and research into its preclinical phases. She has also contributed to the expert management of various neurological pathologies, including epilepsy, cerebrovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders in reference hospital settings.

She has published more than 50 scientific articles in high-impact journals, with notable examples including “The Lancet, JAMA Neurology, and Alzheimer’s Research & Therapy”. In addition, she has taken part in national and international conferences and has collaborated on research projects centered on new methods of neuropsychological assessment, biomarkers, and the application of new technologies to cognitive diagnosis.

She is an active member of research groups and scientific societies, such as the Cooperative Research Network Center on Neurodegenerative Diseases (CIBERNED), a scientific society dedicated to networking and specialized research in neurodegeneration, and is also a member of the Spanish Society of Neuropsychology (SENE) and the Clinical Neuropsychology Working Group of the Official College of Psychologists of Catalonia (COPC).
