Barcelona will host the Barcelona–Pittsburgh 2026 Conference

The biennial conference will bring together international experts in Alzheimer’s disease and neurodegeneration to share academic and clinical advances.

Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona, in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh, announces the upcoming XIV edition of the prestigious Barcelona–Pittsburgh 2026 Conference (BcnPit 26), which will take place from May 13 to 15, 2026, at the Hotel Porta Fira in Barcelona.

A Leading Forum in Neuroscience and Dementia

The biennial Barcelona–Pittsburgh Conference has become one of the most influential spaces for academic and clinical exchange in the field of dementias. Professionals from around the world take part to share scientific advances, therapeutic perspectives, and collaborative strategies that drive Alzheimer’s research forward.

This edition will focus on key topics such as neuromodulation, biology of aging, epidemiology, new therapeutic approaches, and emerging technologies for diagnosis and follow-up.

A Unique Opportunity for the Scientific and Clinical Community

Attendees will be able to participate in workshops, symposia, and plenary sessions with leading international researchers. In addition, BcnPit 26 will serve as a platform to present original work and foster collaboration between research and clinical centers.

Through this conference, Ace reaffirms its commitment to research excellence, bridging the gap between science and clinical practice, and contributing to the goal of making Alzheimer’s a thing of the past.

“The Barcelona–Pittsburgh Conference is a great opportunity to join forces, learn from one another, and collaborate internationally to discover new therapeutic targets that improve the lives of people with Alzheimer’s and their families,” said Dr. Mercè Boada, co-founder and medical director of Ace.
