Ace presents advances in genetics and biomarkers at AAIC 2025

Once again, we attended the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference® (AAIC 2025), one of the largest scientific gatherings dedicated to dementia and Alzheimer’s research, held last July in Toronto, Canada.

Every year, the AAIC brings together thousands of researchers, clinicians, and professionals from around the world to share the latest discoveries in dementia prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. At this year’s event, we played a prominent role with the presentation of oral communications and posters that reinforce our position as an international leader in genetics, biomarkers, and early detection.

At this year’s event, we presented the latest results on genetics and biomarkers, focusing on early detection and understanding the factors that influence the development of Alzheimer’s disease.

Our team, represented by Dr. Agustín Ruiz, director of research, Dr. Pablo García González, bioinformatician and data analyst, Dr. Victoria Fernández, head of the genomics unit, and Dr. Xavier Montalbán, medical co-director, has shown how certain genes and biological signals can help identify people at risk earlier and more accurately, opening up new possibilities for research and clinical care.

Our participation in the AAIC not only consolidates our presence in international forums, but also demonstrates the strength of our research programs. We work daily to transform scientific data into real clinical advances to improve the quality of life of people with dementia and their families.
