With this vision, Ace Academy was created, a platform developed by Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona to facilitate access to the most up-to-date scientific and clinical knowledge in the field of brain health.
The aim of Ace Academy is to bring research and innovation closer to healthcare professionals, researchers, and individuals interested in the study of neurodegenerative diseases, contributing to improved care and quality of life for people living with cognitive impairment.
Why Is Training in Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementias Important?
Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia and one of the major health challenges of the 21st century. Advances in biomarkers, early diagnosis, genetics, neuroimaging, and treatments are transforming the way these diseases are understood and managed.

The creation of Ace Academy reinforces Ace’s commitment to knowledge transfer and complements initiatives such as the Ace Global Research Summit 2026, an international forum for scientific exchange promoted by Ace to address the latest advances and key challenges in Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders.
While the Ace Global Research Summit brings together experts, researchers, and healthcare professionals from around the world, Ace Academy aims to provide continuous access to knowledge throughout the year.
